Anugya Bharadwaj (班慧梅) is a Research Analyst at the Ghana Centre for China Studies. She is an aspiring Consultant specialising in the field of China studies and India-China relations, currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Chinese Language and China Studies at the Department of East Asian Studies, University of Delhi. Anugya Bharadwaj holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Studies, First Class Honours, from Visva Bharati. Her academic focus spans translation, Chinese linguistics, classical texts, and the historical, cultural, and political evolution of China.

Her professional engagements include research with the Indo-Pacific Studies Centre and core contributions to the Forum for China and East Asia (a student led initiative), where she works on content development and graphic design. She has also interned with U&I Trust, creating content and teaching strategies for child development initiatives.

Recognized for her excellence, Anugya has represented India at international platforms such as the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) and the Chinese Bridge Painting and Calligraphy Competitions, where she won multiple awards. A published artist and accomplished writer, she has received international recognition for her creative and academic pursuits alike.

Fluent in multiple languages, Anugya brings a multilingual, interdisciplinary perspective to her research. Her work bridges language, culture, and geopolitics, reflecting her passion for China-India relations, cross-cultural understanding, and the Indo-Pacific region.
