About the Centre

The Ghana Centre for China Studies (GCCS) is Africa’s preeminent and most comprehensive platform exclusively dedicated to authoritative interpretation of China’s domestic and foreign policies. Founded in 2020 by Alexander Ayertey Odonkor, Ghana’s leading China expert, the GCCS is committed to advancing research on China studies to support policymaking, and deepen understanding between China and the rest of the world. To help achieve this goal, at the GCCS, we encourage collaborations with leading academics, industry experts, policymakers and major organizations in China, and around the world.
